Dexicon — Community Guidelines

v1.0 · In force since 21 August 2026

These Guidelines apply to everything you share on Dexicon: posts, comparisons, leaderboards, chat, reviews, listing text, profiles, bios and photos. They work alongside the Terms of Service and the Marketplace & Trading Rules, and they are part of the same agreement — breaking them is a breach of the Terms.

1. Respect people

No harassment, hate speech, threats, discrimination or bullying. No publishing anyone's personal details (doxxing) — addresses never belong in a chat or a post; a shipping address appears only on the shipping label. Disagree about cards, not about people.

2. Be honest about cards

Describe cards and products truthfully — condition, authenticity, provenance. Do not promote counterfeits or proxies, misrepresent grades, or manipulate prices, reviews, leaderboards or collector matching. What you post about an item has to match the item.

3. No spam — trade on the marketplace

The community is for showing and comparing collections, not for advertising. Buying, selling and trading happen only through the marketplace and its protected checkout — never through posts, comments or an off-platform payment arrangement. Repetitive posting, referral spam and self-promotion beyond your own collection content are not allowed. A post that mentions prices is automatically marked "not an advertisement".

4. Protect minors

Community features require you to be 16 or older. Never ask another user for personal details, off-platform contact or payments, and be especially careful around younger collectors. Content that sexualises, endangers or targets minors leads to an immediate ban and, where the law requires it, a report to the authorities.

5. Keep it safe and lawful

No illegal content, malware or phishing, and no attempts to get around the platform's safety, fees, escrow or verification. No impersonating other collectors, Dexicon, or The Pokémon Company. One account per person.

6. Report, do not retaliate

If you see something that breaks these rules, use the in-app report flow, or write to support@dexicon.app. Do not start call-outs, revenge reviews or harassment campaigns — retaliation is itself a violation. Every report is reviewed and the reporter is told the outcome.

7. How we keep this place safe

Four things exist for that, and all four are one tap away:

  • Rules about what may be posted. Everything above, plus ToS §10. A post is anchored to a real item from the catalogue, so it is never a blank text box, and a listing passes an automated check before it can go live. We do not read everything in advance, and no law requires us to (art. 8 of the Digital Services Act).
  • Report. Every post, comment, review, listing, chat message and profile carries a report button, and you can always write to support@dexicon.app. A human looks at every report, we act as soon as we can, and we tell you what the outcome was.
  • Block. You can block any collector at any time. It works both ways and it is silent: you disappear from each other's feed, boards, matching, chat and search. You never have to give a reason, and we never tell the other person.
  • Reach us. support@dexicon.app, or the support screen inside the app. One address for everything, and it is read every day. Our full company details are at the top of the Terms of Service.

8. Enforcement, and your right to appeal

Moderation follows the same ladder as the marketplace: warning → content removal → feature restriction → suspension → ban. Fraud and safety cases can skip steps.

Every decision comes with a statement of reasons (art. 17 of the Digital Services Act), and you can appeal once through the in-app complaint flow, where a human reviews it — never an automated system alone. See ToS §12 for how that works and what it does and does not oblige us to.

Reviews you received are not deleted just because you ask, but a review that breaks the rules can be flagged and assessed, and the law still applies to the personal data in it — see Marketplace & Trading Rules §16.
